The GTK Boxer GTFz A1 is one of the most advanced 8×8 wheeled armoured vehicles currently in service with the German Army. Developed by the ARTEC consortium, a joint German-Dutch programme, it was designed as a highly modular platform capable of fulfilling a wide range of roles, including troop transport, command and control, ambulance and specialist support missions. Its outstanding ballistic and mine protection, combined with exceptional on-road and off-road mobility, has made the Boxer one of NATO's most capable modern armoured vehicles.
This model represents a GTK Boxer GTFz A1 operated by Jägerbataillon 292 of the German-French Brigade during Exercise Peregrine Sword 2012. Conducted at the Wildflecken training area in Germany, the multinational exercise brought together German, French and Dutch forces to improve interoperability and operational readiness within NATO. During these manoeuvres, the Boxer demonstrated its excellent mobility, protection and versatility, reinforcing its reputation as one of the world's leading wheeled armoured fighting vehicles.
