The GTK Boxer Skyranger represents the latest generation of short-range mobile air defence vehicles designed to protect ground forces against aircraft, helicopters, drones and loitering munitions. Based on the proven Boxer A2 8×8 armoured vehicle and equipped with Rheinmetall's unmanned Skyranger 30 turret, it combines exceptional battlefield mobility with advanced sensors and a powerful 30 mm automatic cannon capable of engaging a wide range of modern aerial threats. This model reproduces the GTK Boxer Skyranger finished in the standard NATO tri-colour camouflage scheme, a configuration selected by several European armed forces to strengthen their mobile air defence capabilities. The system can integrate state-of-the-art sensors, programmable air-burst ammunition and surface-to-air missiles, providing highly effective protection for mechanised formations operating in high-intensity environments. The combination of the Boxer chassis and the Skyranger 30 turret makes this vehicle one of the most advanced ground-based air defence systems currently entering service.
