Jagdpanzer IV L/70, Command Version, 1:72, Dragon Armor

Jagdpanzer IV L/70, Command Version, 1:72, Dragon Armor

The Jagdpanzer IV L/70 was one of Germany's most effective tank destroyers of the Second World War. Based on the Panzer IV chassis and armed with the powerful 75 mm Pak 42 L/70 gun—the same weapon fitted to the Panther—it was capable of destroying most Allied tanks at long range. Its exceptionally low silhouette and sharply sloped frontal armour provided outstanding battlefield survivability, making it particularly effective in defensive positions and ambushes. Although the long gun shifted the vehicle's centre of gravity forward and reduced mobility to some extent, the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 earned an excellent reputation for accuracy and firepower.
This model depicts the Command Version of the Jagdpanzer IV L/70, equipped with additional radio equipment and command antennas used to coordinate German armoured formations in combat. These vehicles served as company and battalion command vehicles while retaining the full combat capabilities of the standard tank destroyer. Dragon Armor faithfully reproduces this rare variant with finely detailed weathering, realistic finishing and all the distinctive features of a German command vehicle.
