P-40N "Cyclones Flying Circus" Lt. Glen "Gabby", 8th FG/35th FS, Papua New Guinea, 1944, 1:72, Hobby Master

The 35th Fighter Squadron formed part of the USAAF's 8th Fighter Group and fought extensively in the Southwest Pacific. During the New Guinea campaign, its P-40s performed escort, interception and ground-attack missions, frequently operating from forward airfields under demanding tropical conditions. The P-40N flown by Lieutenant Glen “Gabby” Holder carried the name “Cyclones Flying Circus”. Hobby Master HA5514 represents this aircraft as it appeared with the 35th Fighter Squadron, 8th Fighter Group, in Papua New Guinea in early 1944. The model has been announced as a new addition to Hobby Master's 1:72 P-40N range.
