McDonnell Douglas F-4J Bu.No 155890 served with VF-143 "Pukin 'Dogs" as NK-114 in 1969 and 1970 before being transferred to VF-21 "Freelancers" as NE-106. In 1977 155890 went to VMFA-212 "Lancers" as WD-10. In early 1965 and again in 1972 the VMFA-212 was deployed in Vietnam returning to Hawaii on both occasions. From 1974 to 1987 it was operated from Japan before withdrawing its F-4 and replaced by the new F / A-18C "Hornet". In 1985 155890 he moved to VMFA-251 "Thunderbolts" DW-05, but in 1987 he was retired and exhibited in Star Warbirds, California as VMFA-333 "Shamrocks."
