In the early 1950s, China acquired a series of Fresh MiG-17 built by the Soviet Union. He began producing his own version of this aircraft, the Shenyang J-5 and F-5 for export. In 1966, Mao Zedong became president of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China beginning the Cultural Revolution. Phrases appeared in support of Mao's ideology, parts even on airplanes. This plane uses "Long live the great Communist Party" and "without fear of sacrifice and get rid of all obstacles to gain victory."
