F4U-1A Corsair "White 29" Lieutenant Ira C. Kepford, VF-17 "Jolly Rogers", 1944, 1:72, Legion

This F4U-1A Corsair depicts the renowned "White 29," flown by Lieutenant Ira C. Kepford, one of the U.S. Navy's top aces during World War II. Serving with the VF-17 "Jolly Rogers" squadron, Kepford achieved 16 confirmed aerial victories in the Pacific theater. The model captures the aircraft’s authentic Navy camouflage, squadron markings, and the striking skull-and-crossbones insignia that made this plane a symbol of aerial dominance. With its rugged design, aggressive lines, and historical significance, it stands out as a tribute to both machine and pilot.
