In the decade of the 30 there was a rapid expansion of the Royal Air Force and the introduction of several types of aircraft that could be considered as the last biplane fighter. Leading this group, the beautiful Hawker Fury came to the end of a long line of successful Hawker biplane designs; When he entered the RAF service with the No. 43 Squadron in the summer of 1931, it became the fastest fighter jet in its history.
Seen as a thoroughbred fighter, only the best pilots of the elite RAF squadrons were selected to pilot the skillful Hawker Fury. No.1 Squadron began receiving its Hawker Fury in February 1932. With rudder stripes, in addition to having the colors of the individual flights painted on the upper deck of the fuselage. Like the 'C' Flight Commander aircraft, it also carries the yellow color of the flight in the fin, the spinner and the wheel covers, giving this attractive plane an even more striking appearance.
