The MiG-29MU1 is a Ukrainian modernization version of the MiG-29. Range of detection of air targets increased up to 29% (up to 100 km (62 mi) in the forward hemisphere and up to 45 km (28 mi) at the rear). The aircraft is equipped with advanced missiles R-27ER1 and R-27ET1, produced by the Ukrainian State Company "Artem" and have a launch range of up to 95 km.
