Panzer Commander Otto Carius, Palm Hero Series WWII, 1:12, Did

Otto Carius was a German tank commander during World War II, known for being one of the most successful tank aces of the conflict. He was born in 1922 and died in 2015. He served primarily on the Eastern Front and was a Tiger I tank commander. He is credited with destroying more than 150 enemy tanks, making him a prominent figure within the Wehrmacht. For his actions, he received several decorations, including the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. After the war, he studied pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist, even opening his own pharmacy called "Tiger Apotheke" (Tiger Pharmacy). He also wrote a book about his experiences titled "Tigers in the Mud," considered one of the best memoirs of German tankmen. Despite his military background, Carius was critical of the war and emphasized the human suffering experienced by all sides.
