Illustrious aircraft carrier, British Royal Navy, 1940, 1: 1250, DeAgostini

The Illustrious class was the predecessor of the Ark Royal class and was composed of four aircraft carriers that participated actively and in outstanding actions on almost all fronts in World War II, survived the conflict and were scrapped in the 1950s. HMS Victorious the last survivor, which was scrapped in 1969.
