Fragata Class Bremen, German Navy, 1982, 1: 1250, DeAgostini

The eight F122 Bremen frigates of the German Navy were commissioned between 1982 and 1990. The design is based on the proven Dutch Kortenaer class but uses a different propulsion system and a hangar design. The ships were built for antisubmarine warfare as a main task, although they are not equipped with towed sonar sonars. They are also suitable for anti-aircraft warfare and the fight against the surface. This class of ship was one of the last to be built under the post-war displacement limitations imposed by the WEU in West Germany.
